Atrium House

Did I say a “perfect” architectural statement? An L-shaped house in Valencia, Spain that emphasizes the dynamic role it has with its environment.

Casa del Atrio (Atrium House), by Spanish architect Francisco Silvestre Navarro, is immersed into its surroundings—a simple linear shape on a square site. With a strong emphasis on horizontal lines, the house’s glazed outside walls surround a concrete, wide courtyard and a lap swimming pool.

Kudos to Fran Silvestre Architects for bringing uninterrupted spaces with uncompromising geometry—It’s no wonder this faultless minimalism business can be a real refuge. It’s a force for calm.
