MAKR is the brainchild of Jason Gregory, who designs and patterns every product (and produces all of the hand-sewn small goods in house) along with his team.
Composed mostly of bags, cases and accessories, MAKR products are all invariably designed in clean lines and their apparent simplicity and effortlessness belie quite a sophisticated build. The succint range of materials – canvas, leather, metal and wood – provides the brand with a strong character: sturdy, dependable and beautiful.
I’ve been especially in love with the black canvas and black manitoba utility bag featured here, but I also secretly pine for their work stool…

Are they expensive? I bet they’re expensive.

@ Derek, not as bad as it could’ve been, I bought a backpack (the last of the featured backpacks) and I believe I paid $130 included shipping to Denmark.
Quick shipping, and I’ve been very satisfied with the bag.

I have their passport wallet in a nice, light brown leather. It’s beautiful, simple, and USEFUL. I love it. It’s a good alternative to one of those big, fat wallets. Space for a few credit cards (I only carry two, my medical card, and drivers license) and I place folded money in the pocket where the passport would slip into. Highly recommended. And yes…the price wasn’t cheap but far more reasonable than other comparable leather shops.
