This elegant streamlined sofa, called Mono, has been created by Norwegian studio Anderssen & Voll for the furniture brand LK Hjelle. The idea was to produce a piece so thin and compact that it would fit in any space. Instead of going overboard with padding, designers gave the sofa a flexible back that provides a surprising level of comfort. The result – an ascetic shape and a feel of a proper sofa in one beautiful item.

I love the geometry of this piece. Looking almost like a padded bench, it is possibly the slimmest sofa I have seen to date. The line includes a 2-seater and a 3-seater and comes in a variety of colors.
