Throughout his life he was dedicated to creating and developing the “ideal” everyday object. These words describe the passion of artist and architect Bruno Limberger. His 1960 Koin piggy bank was re-vived in 2007 by Swiss designers Gabriela Vetsch & Andre Riemens for manufacturer Merlo-T. And although the couple has made a few adjustments and has added additional sizes, Limberger’s original design concept remains absolutely timeless.
