AÃRK Collective and design studio Daniel Emma have joined forces once again, with the ever-so playful Multi. A timepiece that imbues minimal principles—subtle and restrained—and yet through its fresh and crisp palette, three varying offerings (Morning, Noon and Midnight), a plethora of aesthetic tastes has been catered for. Born from a place of rethinking conventional timepiece finishing’s and pairings, the partnership feels effortless in its reshaping of the traditional.
Based and designed in Melbourne, Multi sees a two-tone leather strap in supple calf leather and matte case colours in a sandblasted face casing. At the centre of the magic, is a 38mm diameter face, with an 18mm wide strap, where each variation features tonal differentiated straps coming together. The considered aspects of this design and the graceful way they all come together, only add to the appeal of this timepiece.
The core principles of the AÃRK Collective ethos are that of emphasising geometry, detail and simplicity through minimal design offerings. Their passion to share a desire to make objects that are lasting and unique, where they are focused on simple forms, obsessed with tiny details couldn’t be more true for Multi. Surprising, playfully fun and minimal, this collab is a very welcome addition.
