Dion Lee‘s Ready-to-Wear Spring / Summer 2016 offering is nothing short of simple cool. The Sydney-based Australian Designer has been challenging the forms of fashion since he entered the arena as a serious contender. This collection is clearly no exception. Described as business girls gone bad the collection sees a series of structured blazers, dresses, vests and pants in various colour-blocked neutral tones.
There is a calculated fine line that Lee is walking in this collection between sophistication and cool. The sheer ensembled pieces with the satin accompaniments. Modest and edgy, this collection is one of minimalism contemporized. From the collection itself to the accessorizing shown, there is an undoubtably purposed strictness to his regime. Lee is one to watch, and follow and adorn oneself in. The RTW SS16 is solid testament to this.
