New York-based reductive artist Karen Schifano makes some great installations using tape that are both clever and playful.

I love the way she deliberately intersects geometric shapes, like squares and rectangles, across monochromatic canvases and in less desirable spots of galleries, like the corners and the floor. There is something so refreshing and minimal about using something so mundane and inexpensive like tape in such an effective way.
