A kitchen classic concentrated to the essential, Loup has been designed by India-based Saif Faisal for OTHR. It has been crafted in black or white 3D printed porcelain in numbered edition.

Loup began with a fresh look at an everyday object: the fruit bowl. Its abstract shape expresses its function only when occupied; otherwise, its purpose is left to the user’s imagination. Whether on the mantle or in use, this pared-down kitchen tool adds a subtle elegance to any room.

A container to all, the Loup is a fruit bowl reduced to its most basic form. Its minimal material and clean aesthetic prove just as effective as its more troublesome predecessors.

I love this simple, versatile, and functional object that takes advantage of the 3D printing process to create a durable porcelain form only viable with this technology.
