Born in Cairo, Egypt, Italy-based Armen Agop creates stone sculptures that delve deeply into the pursuit of purity of form. Deriving from nature and memory, taking inspiration from dunes in the desert, his work is guided by his upbringing in Egypt. His material of choice creates an interesting balance, capturing the flowing energy of the eternally moving sands of the desert.
