The Nest System Tables were designed by by Stockholm based design studio Form Us With Love for Danish design brand +Halle, which were presented at this year’s Stockholm Design Week.

A distinguished modular table solution configured to turn and bend, the Nest System Tables is the latest extension to the popular +Halle Nest series. The purpose of the Nest System is to create a sense of community around a table in a similar fashion we often gather in a break out space, while exploring the ability for a table to become an architecture tool. +Halle Creative Director, Martin Halle explains:

There is a need for public areas to combine work and everything else, the solution is a large centre table that does more than just go in a straight line, structuring a playful space for a large group of individuals.

We learnt from the architects and users of the series that swapping from sitting in a high Nest chair to standing around a high table created a better performance. Most people actually preferred working at a standing table, as long as they had a comfortable seating to lean on or sit in at the same height.
