The Berlin-based artist Ignacio Uriarte (b. 1972, Krefeld, Germany) began his drawing practice based on small gestures that happen without artistic intention during office hours. We particularly love this monochrome series from an exhibition at i8 gallery in Reykjavik, Iceland. Simple arrangements of geometric shapes pigmented ink on paper are remarkable examples of minimalism in art.
