Meshable Watches is a contemporary and independent watch brand, based in the German city of Düsseldorf. The brand is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to produce its fantastic new watch series.

The Meshable 003 Automatic is a battery-free, contemporary watch that is powered by your movement. It has been designed for men and women, and available in beautiful silver and black finishes. We spoke with co-founder Nemanja Vucicevic who explained the brand's design philosophy — one we certainly admire:

From the day we started, our core philosophy was to reduce objects to their base essentials. This means that each and every product of ours has to be as clean and simple as possible.

The 003 Automatic watch also hides an elegant detail; a tiny circle in each hour inspired by the earth’s rotation, in two colours — light blue and pastel purple — to symbolise the path of the sun. Just great.
