Based in Spain and Mexico, LaSelva design studio is composed of Manuel Bañó and David Galvañ, who developed the remarkable Faro Lamp for the Danish furniture company Bolia.

Faro Lamp is divided in two parts; the cylindrical black marble base with a magnet at the top, surrounded with a thin felt to allow the shade to stay in the desired position, and the spherical steel lampshade. The lamp is available in black matt, black chrome and antique brass and feature a translucent polypropylene face.

With these characteristics, the user can rotate the lamp shade 360º in horizontal and 45º in vertical positions, keeping the base in the same spot. Without doubt, this a great example of a simple, intuitive and very intelligent product design.
