Located in the island of Mallorca, Spain, Hotel Castell dels Hams started its activity in 1967 as a guesthouse, and it has continually improved its installations throughout this time. The latest, is this magnificently minimalistic work for the indoor pool and spa.

Designed by the Spanish studio A2arquitectos. The work stands out by a series of square openings in the walls as well as the roof, adorning the pool area, which creates a wonderful dance of colours and light reflections inside, that also change by the days and seasons. The challenge of the building was not only to stop the new area from being used as secondary feature, but to ensure they were used to highlight the hotel's sunniest façade.

Light, colour, warmth and water certainly create a space of pure relaxation, comfort and wellness.
