Offset Chair is a minimalist chair designed by Copenhagen-based designers Johansen Faurschou as an evolution of the traditional armrest chair. The studio was established in 2012 by Anita Johansen and Laura Faurschou with ambition to create products with a long-lasting expression through a precise and effortless style.

This beautiful chair has a minimalistic upholstery as an offset from the slim metal frame. All four legs of the chair extend past the seat in order to support the arm rest and seat back frame. The back legs are situated closer together, forming a perfectly symmetrical and balanced form when viewed from the front or back.

I love the timeless style of this chair. It has a modernistic and clearly readable appearance, where superfluous details are cut away and the function itself is in focus.
