Ora Ito’s Recto Verso is a play on the conventional. Minimal and sleek, these pieces are available in both a matt black metal finish and a polished stainless steel. Originally conceived in 2008, the set aims to incorporate a double face and the interaction between a flat side and a convex side as a technical exploit. The result is understated and enduring.
The play on functionality so slight, it is a beautiful inclusion. Drawn by Ora Ito, this really is a play on modernity with the opposition of curves and lines. The Italian-born collection is named Christofle and available in the two aforementioned finishes. Beautiful, subtle and clever, Recto Verso is a welcome addition to many a table.
