The Revolution glassware collection by Italian designer Felicia Ferrone is strikingly minimal in form. Despite its ethereal looks, however, the line is highly durable. All pieces are made of hand-blown borosilicate glass, a thermal resistant material that makes them oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe.
When in use, the collection demonstrates its true aesthetic value. Any liquid or substance, put into these pieces, seems to float above the surface. And with several of them on the table, these floating splashes of colour create a beautiful visual dynamic.
Revolution glassware is part of the permanent design collection of the Art Institute of Chicago.
