Senscommon has updated rainwear standards in creating its first product in the form of the Cyclist Raincoat — a breathable, lightweight over-coat fully adapted to cycling motions. An urban lifestyle essential, determined to be a pure minimalist techwear item.

State of the art technology melding with a simple utilitarian design, the raincoat is intuitive in use on and off the bicycle, riding with all elements in all seasons.

Using the pedalling motion as a starting point in the design, it has an elongated A-line silhouette, hood for large field of view, cycling adapted sleeve fit and an innovative feature that allows fastening the coat around the legs, enabling the wearer to move safely while staying dry from head to below the knees.

Cyclist Raincoat is designed by a former creative pattern designer at Viktor&Rolf — Laura Šilinska. Shortlisted in the Muji Design Awards in 2013, it is now fully developed and awaiting funding in order to be marketed under the independent label senscommon in support of tokyobike and Bookman.

Don't miss out on pre-ordering via the Kickstarter campaign until 6th October 2016.
