Tokyo-based designer Kazushige Miyake has just released a new product for Japanese company MUJI—a great couple of names that always captures the attention of us here at Minimalissimo.

In this case, the notable design is an ultrasonic humidifier that can be placed in your own personal space such as on your table or by your bedside.

With a clean and elegant design, it is also an understandable and well-considered product, with the steam outlet positioned high like a chimney, preventing any unwanted moisture on the table on which humidifier is placed—a typical problem with this type of product.

The footprint of this humidifier is as small as possible so that it takes up as little space as possible. It is also possible to change the direction of the mist by rotating the chimney-like tube.

We recently met Kazushige Miyake and published an insightful and honest interview with him in our second printed volume Minimalissimo Nº2, which can order today.
