Japanese brand Ovject is a label for new products that are not uniform objects, but instead products conceived from a totally different viewpoint.

From kitchenware and tableware onward, Ovject offer an array of products for everyday living. Items that make everyday life just a little more pleasant just by being there. "Ovjects" give shape to the possibilities existing in the relationships between function and form, tools and people.

Ovject's two-handled pan, designed by Yoshihiro Mikami, enables a wide range of cooking methods at home, starting with authentic Dutch oven cuisine, as well as simmering, steaming and grilling. Food is cooked to perfection with the excellent heat storage properties of cast iron, and the all-over enamel coating prevents rust, prolonging the life of the product while making it easy to clean. Always important, right?

The lid, which can also be used as a grill plate, features a flat shape so that other items can easily be stacked on top, allowing for efficient storage. The distinctive shape of the handles is derived from their function of enabling easy opening and closing even when wearing heat-proof mitts. The excellent heat storage of cast iron, the superb easy-to-clean properties of enamel, and a pleasant-to-use functionality are brought together in the minimalist form of this beautiful two-handled pan.
