I always carry a pen with me. There is no shortage of uses for a pen; whether it is taking notes at work or making some quick sketches while traveling. It can be hard to find that perfect pen however. For me the perfect pen is a pen that writes smoothly and is beautiful to look at. Pen Uno by ENSSO is a beautiful minimalist aluminium pen that combines both.

ENSSO claims that Pen Uno, with a diameter of 5.3mm, is one of the slimmest pens ever manufactured. They take advantage of the super slim ink cartridge the pen is made to hold. The Hi-Tec-C Coleto gel ink cartridge, available in 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5mm pen tips, is easily accessible and available in a variety of colours. Thanks to the tip design and the ink, this cartridge makes the finest of lines flow out effortlessly and smoothly.

Apart from the ink cartridge, the pen consists of three main components: the main shaft, holding barrel and end cap. The holder barrel is slightly wider than the main shaft and makes the pen comfortable in the hand. The barrel also serves as a twisting cap to protect the pen tip when not in use. Just smoothly turn the cap a few times to reveal or hide the pen. To change the ink cartridge you remove the end cap using a small flat head screwdriver.
