Considerated one of the most notable and finest examples of Brutalist architecture in the United Kingdom, the Royal National Theatre, located on London's South Bank and completed in 1976, is an astonishing design by the English architect, Denys Lasdum.

The National Theatre stands out by a series of individual and enormous concrete blocks on different levels and layers, which have been extraordinarily captured in this series of photographs taken by Love Aesthetics. Ivania Carpio explains the importance of natural light:

Usually the British weather makes the concrete wet and dark, even more dramatic and confrontational. But this time around we saw the Royal National Theatre in a different light — literally — because the sun was shining bright causing many more layers of shadows and highlights on the magnificent concrete sculpture.
