Brutalist Worship

Brutalist architecture flourished from the 1950s to the mid-1970s. Although popular in buildings for business and living, it is far rarer for brutalism to be found in places of worship. Typically, churches are highly ornate; Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque spring to mind, so the sight of one built in a brutalist style can be surprising. And beautiful. Much like the Trekroner Church captured by photographer Kim Høltermand.
