Initially planned around a series of sculptures simulating the behaviour of polyurethane foam, Gentle Resistance by artist Todd Robinson, evolved to include both the simulations, made by a casting and hand finishing process as well as the foam models themselves. The works evoke figurative sculptures to semi-abstract, kinky formations of synthetic origin.
