Studio Gud’s Fazer collection sees beautifully created geometries combine. A series of mirrors that act as more sculptural and formal (than purely functional) are made from a combination of Marble and Brass. Designers Alexandre and Paulo Neves are situated in Porto, Portugal and comprise the collective that is Studio Gud. The focus is on offering a unique combination of collaborating with both interior and product design services through their work. Their aim is to seek beauty in expressing the truth in shapes, and conceiving objects that respond to culture and nostalgia.

Relaunched in 2017, and available through &Ratio, the collection has three objects: a Table Mirror (45cm W x 12cm D x 45cm H), a Small Mirror (29cm W x 10cm D x 31cm H) and a Candlestick (20cm W x 4cm D x 4cm H). Each piece shows a differing exploration of shape, and expression of materiality. Fazer is a welcome, and quite handsome, addition to any space. Studio Gud have clearly tapped into the curiosities of exploring what these everyday objects can really be.
