Luke Wong of Hao Wai is an American furniture designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in designed objects from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Most of his skills are self-taught; learned through hands-on and on the job experience.

In addition to custom commissions, Hao Wai provides high-end fabrication work for architects and designers. His work has been displayed in Chicago at the Merchandise Mart and in New York at the D&D Building.

Hao Wai's collection of furnishings is set apart from others in the industry by the strong focus on attention to detail and quality while remaining visually unique and functional. Best described as elegantly minimal, Hao Wai beautifully unites complementary materials into each piece, with the end result speaking for itself.

I particularly love some pieces of his work, such as the Caisson Cocktail Table and Cole Bedside Table and beautiful sofas, such as Dakota and Parker. Minimal and strong.
