The Tetra workspace lamp, by POD Design, introduces an element of dynamism through geometric innovation. A take on the traditional neon lamp, the designers behind Tetra were inspired by the highly stylized retro-futurism of Bladerunner. The innovation driving this piece and its reinterpretation of what constitutes work-appropriate illumination has resulted in a piece that brings an element of fun and encourages interactivity to the workplace.

With adaptability and uniqueness key to workplace trending at present, this product is at the forefront of current industrial design thinking. The lamp is dimmable, unlike the standard issue neon and can be placed in a number of sculptural deportments. The additional elements add to the extended functionality of this piece and its versatility also. The intent is to take the mundane out of the workplace.

POD Design, lead by design juggernaut Brooks Atwood in Brooklyn, launched the Tetra in 2012. His presence in both the US, and international design scene is one to watch. And watch with excitement. Based in New York, the Tetra is also made in New York, with a great deal of pride mind you.
