Award winning and globally acclaimed designer, Joey Ruiter pushes through the boundaries of the norm and finds new ways to solve problems which leads to products that are as useful as they are jaw dropping. He has the ability to see around the expected and to notice the unexpected in otherwise ordinary things.
This is how Joey Ruiter describes himself and his philosophy of work for his studio JRuiter, something necessary to know to fully understanding Tinnie 10 — a small and incredibly simple vessel that has been wonderfully designed as a perfect isosceles triangle. Without front or back seating, it simply allows for sitting side-by-side for up to two adults.
Powered by a 6hp 4-stroke or electric motor, Tinnie 10 has a length of 3m (10ft) and a weight of just 79kg, the vessel is constructed in 1/8” thick powder-coated aluminium, and is also available with white oak plank flooring and Xorel upholstered seating options.
